A wintery memory game with a lovely print by Mauri Kunnas. This game, in Finnish, comes with a game board, game chips, and snow piles that prevent you from turning cards. The innovative board game format makes this memory game fun! The goal of the game is to be the first player to go around the game board and get to the pile of presents in the finish line. Duration of the game is 15 minutes with 2-4 players. Age recommendation 5+. NB. This game and instructions are only in Finnish.

Let's go for a ski trip in the snow! You can see animals, snowmen, and other fun details from the Mauri Kunnas books. The first one in the finish line wins!

Game rules: Each player turns two cards in their turn: if they are a match, player can move their game piece downwards the number stated in the game tile. Afterwards, the same player turns the cards face down, and it is another player’s turn. If the cards do not match, they are put on the table face down, and it is another player’s turn. You can't turn a tile with a snow lantern if the snow lantern is on. If all four snow lanterns are lit, the player who gets a matching pair of pictures gets to take any of the lit snow lanterns and puts it on one of their cards. This way, one of the marked cards can be played again. Game repeats these rules until one player reaches the finish line and gifts! You do not need an even number to reach the finish line.

MAURI KUNNAS

Mauri Kunnas books often take place in same settings. Many Christmas stories take place in Santa’s Village, and there are several stories of Doghill Farm. Mr. Clutterbuck, the world’s most famous sleepwalker, can be seen in different Kunnas settings. Familiar settings and characters, and retellings of old Finnish classics bring us back to Kunnas’ books, year after year. They teach us history and take us on exciting adventures!
