Autumn arrives with its darker nights, playing in the puddles, harvesting, and beautiful nature, wearing autumn’s colours. This happens in Moominvalley, too – where Moomin and friends enjoy different indoor and outdoor activities in our Moomin by Martinex autumn 2024 collection. The collection is filled with colours, adventures, and happy moments. These lovelies will be favourites for both small and larger Moomin fans – every day! Autumn with Moomins is never boring!

Whether you are looking for clothing for days at home, running errands, and festive moments, our autumn collection has something for everyone. The collection's adorable prints and classic clothing pieces, such as babies' bodysuits, pyjamas and overalls, and children's track suits and dresses will bring Moomin joy to clothing, every day! The materials include super soft cotton, velvety velour, and comfortable college jersey. Matching has never been this easy – we have clothing in matching prints for baby sizes 56-86 cm and for larger children, in sizes 92-122 cm, and to 128 cm in selected clothing. Perfection!

Our women's collection include new arrivals and beloved dresses, tunics, and hoodies. For men, we have charming t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, college shirts, and hoodies. The Moomin bag collection brings a finishing touch to outfits with their joyful Moomin prints.

Our new Moomin sock collection features beloved Moomin characters in matching socks for children and adults. Is there anything cuter than wear matching Moomin socks with friends and family? We think not! Children’s socks are available in sizes 23/26 - 31/34, and adults’ 36/38 – 42/46. The socks feature front prints of Moomin characters.

According to our designer: ”The autumn collection is inspired by the autumnal forest and the harvesting festivals. In addition to outdoor activities, we have dedicated prints to those who love all things shiny and sparkly, and those, who love tools and machinery.”

Jewellery and Apples

“The Jewellery print is a very girly print, with Snorkmaiden and Little My playing and having fun with makeup and jewellery. This print is an ode for all those who love girly things”, says our designer.

This pink print is especially charming, available for babies in our classics: a long-sleeved bodysuit, pyjama, and a bodysuit dress.  The print is also available in a long-sleeved shirt, bib scarf, and non-slip slippers for babies. For older children we have an adorable tulle dress, long-sleeved, frilly shirt, and leggings, with adorable cuff frills.

Snorkmaiden and Little My are enjoying their lovely moment with makeup, perfume, and jewellery. Little My is having fun, spraying perfume on herself with gusto. Snorkmaiden has adorned herself with jewellery, from her tail to ears.  What a lovely, girly moment! Moomintroll has arrived, too, and is hugging Snorkmaiden. Oh, how adorable!

Our purple Apples print invites you to enjoy delicious, ripe apples. This print is available for babies in a long-sleeved bodysuit, pyjama, and a bib scarf. For larger children, the print is available in a lovely, voluminous dress, and a long-sleeved shirt. 

Our designer’s thoughts on the print: “Early autumn is truly the time of apples! They are blooming everywhere, which makes the Moomins excited, too.”

Oh, such a lovely sight to behold – large, delicious apples are ripe and ready to be picked. Snufkin, Snorkmaiden, Moominmamma, Moomintroll, Snork, and Little My are enjoying the autumn’s delicious apple harvest and autumnal beauty!

Harvesting and Soiree

Autumn is coming, and it is time to gather all fruits and vegetables, and to celebrate the harvest! Moomin characters are gathering for a celebration, preparing for winter. Little My is jumping in excitement while Sniff has sat down to enjoy some treats. Moomintroll is picking apples, while Moominmamma is carrying a large pumpkin. Have a happy harvest!

The rich and vibrant Harvesting print is available in pink and blue, with slightly different characters. Our selection has many lovely clothes in this print: For babies, we have a bodysuit, pyjama, a dress, and a bodysuit dress, as well as a bib scarf, overall, and a beanie. For larger children, we have a frilly collegeshirt, a dress with a frilly hem, a long-sleeved shirt, and a beanie. Adorable, matching clothing for girls, boys, babies, and larger children. ”The Harvesting print celebrates the beginning of autumn. The Moomins are preparing for a harvest celebration and the upcoming winter, surrounded by fruits and flowers in bloom”, our designer says of this print. 

”Soiree is inspired by the last warm nights of summer. As the sun is setting, the Moomins are gathering to reminisce about the past summer”, says our designer. The atmosphere can truly be seen in the print!

The lovely colourful and bubbly Soiree print is available in a our super popular track jacket and trousers and non-slip slippers. Wearing this, those darker autumn days are so much better!

Moomin characters know that a dark autumn night calls for a soiree! Colourful lanterns bring beautiful lights into the garden while Moominmamma, Moomintroll, Snorkmaiden, Moominpappa, and Mymble are enjoying the appetizers and the party mood. Stinky wants to join, too. Welcome!

Rainy day and Brisk

Splish splash! Autumn brought a rainy day into the Moominvalley. But it will not bring us down, we can take out our umbrellas and jump into puddles, like Little My!

The Rainy Day print is filled with joyful energy, and it is especially beautiful against the red colour. “What is autumn without a couple of rainy days? Let’s take out our umbrellas and have fun jumping in puddles, like Little My!” says our designer.

The Rainy day print is available in cotton and soft velour. The babies' bodysuit, pyjama, bib scarf, and leggings are available in cotton. The super soft velour is available in a babies' bodysuit dress, overall, and a beanie. For larger children, there is a shirt, puffy-sleeved dress, trousers, and a beanie in velour. Perfection!

It is autumn, the best time for a brisk walk in the crisp autumn air. Snufkin, Stinky, and Moomintroll are enjoying a stroll in the outdoors, and are admiring the colourful leaves. Snufkin has his fishing rod – are they going to go fishing next?

The Brisk print is very energetic and joyful, and its characters really pop up against the green colour. “In the autumn, the air is crispy and leaves colourful – there is no better time for a brisky walk!” says our designer of the inspiration behind this print.

For babies, this print, in velour, is available in an overall, a bib scarf, a shirt, trousers, and a beanie. For larger children, we have the following clothing available in velour with the fun Smirk print: shirt, trousers, and a beanie. Everyone should be able to enjoy the warmth and softness of the velour fabric!

The Brisk is available in our super popular track jacket and trousers, made from recycled polyester. The matching non-slip slippers are made from durable polyester, and they can be washed in the washing machine.

Drizzle and Field trip

”What is autumn without a couple of rainy days? Let’s take out our umbrellas – a small drizzle is not in the way of fun autumn activities”, says our designer of the inspiration behind the print. 

The dark blue Drizzle print is energetic and joyful. It is available for babies in a long-sleeved bodysuit, a pyjama, shirt, a bib scarf, and non-slip slippers. For larger children, the print is available in a college shirt, non-slip slippers, and a long-sleeved shirt. Perfection!

It is raining in the Moominvalley, but nevermind that – rain is part of autumn! Let’s prepare accordingly and take out our umbrellas, like Stinky! Moomintroll is taking shelter from the rain under a large leaf, and Moominpappa is staying dry under his top hat. Everyone can stay dry in their own style!

“The Field trip print is inspired by the return to school after a summer holiday. Spending time with friends outdoors, enjoying those last warm days while learning something new”, says our designer.

The natural white clothing with the detailed and coloured Field Trip print is available in a long-sleeved bodysuit, a pyjama, and a dress, as well as bib scarf and a beanie. For larger children, we have a long-sleeved shirt, frilly tunic, a voluminous dress, and a beanie. How lovely!

Moomin characters are off to a field trip in a nearby forest. The trees are in vibrant shades of autumn, and there are mushrooms on top of the moss! Sometimes it is good to sit down by a tree and have a long talk with friends. Or have treats, like Little My. Field trips are so much fun!

Mushrooms and Fixers

An autumnal forest is filled with all sorts of treats. Moomin characters have gone camping, and they have pitched a tent into the forest. Snufkin is eating an apple and looking at Moomintroll, who is writing something. Moominpappa is clearly planning to build something grand. Snufkin is running around, while Stinky is observing his surroundings. But who will pick mushrooms to take home to Moominmamma?

The colourful Mushrooms print is available in a calming grey colour. “It is time to go pick some mushrooms! There is no better time for a little forest walk”, says our designer. This lovely print is available for babies in a long-sleeved bodysuitl a pyjama, shirt, and a bib scarf. For larger children, the print is available in a long-sleeved shirt.

The illustrations in the blue Fixers print are very detailed. They are from the original covers of Tove Jansson’s comics. Moomin Comic 3 comic book includes the following stories: Moomin builds a House, Moomin Begins a New Life, and Moomin Valley Turns Jungle.

The Fixers print is available for babies in a long-sleeved bodysuit, pyjama, bib scarf, and a beanie. For larger children, the print is available in a long-sleeved shirt, beanie, and a lovely hoodie. For all the small fixers of the world! 

Adults

Our autumn Moomin collection for adults is blooming in shades of red, green, and black and white. We are very proud to present our beloved Senja hoodie, now available in burgundy, and our new arrivals, the Heta shirt, Ira tunic, and the Iivo college jacket for men. The Smirk print of the Iivo jacket is available in children's clothing, as well. Because is there anything cuter than dad matching with children?

The prints in our adult's collection are blooming in the colours of autumn. The Meadow print is available in shades of green and purple, and the Azalea print is stylish in black and white. The Blooming print is available in the beloved Hilda tunic. The Cute print is available in the Ira tunic, and in our bags.

We are proud to present our Moomin sock collection, featuring beloved Moomin characters, created by Tove Jansson, in matching socks for children and adults.
