The town elf used to be a castle elf who lived in castles and manors but evolved into a town elf when it got drawn into the city by its, well, bright lights. The town elf is the first to get the wind of new trends and it helps other elves and Father Christmas to understand the modern way of life. The town elf enjoys the fast-paced life of towns and big cities where you can always find something to do and see. You can run into the town elf at theatres, in the movies, exhibitions, sports events or see it having a cup of coffee in the coffee shop by the corner. The town elf is in its element when Christmas lights change the city and sparkle in winter nights. A carol might slip out of the town elf but with dignity, of course.
The town elf hopes that people who live in cities would find the treasures among the events and spaces they have to offer, without getting too caught up in the never-sleeps kind of an attitude that eventually wears you out. It further hopes that people would notice and greet their neighbours instead of letting the individuality and friendliness drown in the masses. The town elf wishes that motorists showed respect to pedestrians, especially during the winter as the roads and pavements are slick.
You can recognize a town elf by its light gray suit and the matching Christmas hat. Town elves come in three different sizes: 38 cm, 52 cm and 63 cm tall.
